Cat Lodging FAQ
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made a few different ways. By either calling us directly, submitting an online reservation form or in person. All reservations made must be confirmed by a reservation specialist.
Am I charged for the day I drop off my pet?
Our fees work a lot like a hotel. You’ll be charged for the day you drop off regardless of what time. On your departure day if you check your pet out by 1pm you won’t be charged for that day. The only exception to this rule is if your pet is getting a full haircut groom before going home, we could request a later checkout time so you won’t be charged for the departure day. There is a full day charge for picking up your pet on Sunday.
What is your cancellation policy?
Once your deposit is placed it is non-refundable back to your credit card if you entirely had to cancel. Should you need to cancel and let us know at least 2 weeks in advance, your deposit would then remain on your account here with us for 1 year from today’s date to be used towards any of our services.
Can I bring my pet(s) own food?
Included in your pet’s standard lodging is one feeding per day with our house blend cat food mix. This blend of cat food usually does well with pet’s digestive systems. We always recommend bringing in your cat’s own food if they have special diet needs or if your pet has a sensitive stomach. If you decide to bring in your pet’s own food, prepare it any way you want to. You can pre-bag it in baggies; bring in the bag of food or a container. You can also bring in what you use to measure it out with or we have measuring cups.
Can you accommodate my pet’s food that needs to be frozen or refrigerated?
Yes, we absolutely can. Each section of our facility is equipped with a refrigerator that can keep any items cold or frozen.
What vaccinations are required for cats for lodging?
Cats are required to have current vaccinations for Rabies and Feline Distemper.
Can I bring in my proof of vaccinations in when I bring my pet in for his stay?
We do ask for the proof of vaccinations before you bring your pet in to stay with us. We require them before coming in because the health and safety of all of the pets staying with us is our number one priority. We also want to make sure that your pet has all the vaccinations they need to stay with us in the correct time frame. We don’t want there to be any last-minute surprises for you on your way out of town.
What happens if my pet needs veterinary care while he’s staying at your facility?
If this unfortunate circumstance presents itself, we will make every effort to contact your veterinarian. If your pet requires an office visit we will take your pet to their veterinarian as they are familiar with your pet as well as they would have all of your pet’s health records. If your veterinarian is not available, we have several 24-hour vets in the area that we work with and would take your pet to.
What items can I bring in from home for my pet’s stay?
We suggest that you bring in any favorite toys or treats. We provide everything else for our feline guests to keep them comfortable and happy.
I have multiple cats; can they stay together?
Yes, two or more cats from the same family can lodge comfortably together in the same room. We have two options for multiple pets from the same family that are staying together. We can also separate those pets for their feedings, doses of medications or treats. We can accommodate pets from the same family lodging right next to each other also if staying together isn’t the best option for your pet(s).
Can my dog and cat stay together?
While we do try and accommodate all requests made from pet owners, this is one we can’t accommodate. With the wellness and safety in mind of all of the pets staying with us we decided the risk outweighs the benefit.
Is there staff there twenty-four hours a day?
There is twenty-four hour a day video monitoring. While the owners live on property we aren’t staffed twenty-four hours a day.
Can I call and check on my pet while I’m away?
Call as often as you’d like too, we have a direct line that is strictly for pet owners calling to check in on their pet(s).
What happens to my pet if I can’t make it to pick them up on their departure day?
We understand things can happen unexpectedly; delays in trips will happen. Your pet is welcome to stay with us until you’re able to come pick them up. We ask for a phone call so that we can figure out your pet’s schedule.
